Successful candidates will begin their studies in AY 2017, and receive full financial support for tuition fee, monthly allowance, visa and round-trip airfares. Plus, you will be offered a well-designed internship for 12 months and a job upon graduation!

Eligibility
• Be a Vietnamese, Cambodian, Filipino, Indonesian or Indian citizen
• Have at least one undergraduate degree in business administration, journalism, communication, organizational development, marketing, international business or relevant fields.
• Have at least two years’ of work experience after graduation by the time application
• Have a valid minimum TOEFL iBT 79 or IELTS 6.5.

Application Deadline: The application deadline is March 31, 2017.
Course Level: Fellowship is available for pursuing PhD studies at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or Institutes of CAS around China.

Scholarship Award: CAS, fellowship awardees will receive a monthly stipend (to cover accommodation and other living expenses, local travel expenses and health insurance) of RMB 7,000 or RMB 8,000 from CAS through UCAS/USTC, depending on whether he/she has passed the qualification test arranged by UCAS/USTC for all doctoral candidates after admission. All awardees will also be provided tuition and application fee waivers.
Scholarship can be taken in China
Eligibility: Applicants must:
  • Be maximum age of 35 years on 31 December 2017;
  • Not take up other assignments during the period of his/her fellowship;
  • Not hold Chinese citizenship;
  • Applicants for doctoral study should also:
  • Meet the admission criteria for international students of UCAS/USTC
  • Hold a master degree before the beginning of the fall semester: 1 September, 2017.
  • Provide evidence that he/she will return to their home country on completion of their studies in China according to CAS-TWAS agreement.
  • Provide proof of knowledge of English or Chinese language.
Nationality: Students/scholars from all over the world, including 60 from developed countries can apply for these CAS-TWAS fellowships.

Kyoto University is delighted to announce “2017 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program”, a summer undergraduate research program in science and biotechnology sponsored by Amgen Foundation. It is an eight-week program from June 30 to August 24, 2017.



DEADLINE: February 1, 2017, Japan Standard Time [UTC + 9:00hrs].
A brief description of Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program is:
  • 20 slots will be offered to both international and domestic students to undertake hands-on laboratory experience.
  • Financial support will be provided to participating students such as return airfare, accommodation and scholarship during the program period of June 30 to August 24, 2017.
  • During the eight-week, students will gain research knowledge, and opportunity to network with other students and professionals, and gain invaluable insight to life as a graduate student.
  • In addition to research experience, students also participate in various workshops, educational and cultural based activities, as well as a two-day Japan Symposium.
If Kyoto University’s program dates conflict with your academic calendar, you may also want to introduce Amgen Scholars Program hosted by the University of Tokyo with different program dates.

OBJECTIVE

Yoga Certificate Program is a dynamic course based on Yoga for university students (age group 15-27 yrs) and young professionals. To get the most out of life, we need to increase energy, conserve the energy we have, and manage our time well. Yoga Certificate Program teaches us how to be productive and dynamic while staying cool and centered.


PROGRAM DETAILS

During the program, you learn yoga, powerful breathing techniques, meditation and practical wisdom for our modern world. You can take these techniques back home, incorporate them in your daily lives, and as a result, experience a range of benefits. Yoga certificate Program from The Art of Living, also known as Youth Empowerment Skills Workshop (YES plus), is an international program being taught at various Universities across the world, and is an opportunity for University Students in Cambodia to learn Yoga & implement its effects on themselves.  We offer scholarships for students who want to get enrolled for this program.

UWC schools, colleges and programmes deliver a challenging and transformative educational experience to a diverse cross section of students, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future. Currently, there are 15 UWC colleges and schools throughout the world.



The UWC movement provides a challenging and transformational education to more than 7,500 students each year. The UWC movement started offering scholarships to Cambodian students since 2008.
 

There are two types of UWC scholarships for Cambodian students:

  • Two-Year Scholarships: Pre-university program which offers an International Baccalaureate education to students between the ages of 16 and 19. Offers are made a number of the 15 UWC colleges. Number of scholarships differs each year. Cambodian students applying to the 2-year scholarships may apply through Cambodia UWC National Selection Committee.
  • Five-Year Scholarships: Offers are made by the UWC Southeast Asia in Singapore. Applicable students apply to study from grade 8th - 12th. Cambodian students applying to the 5-year scholarship may apply through the UWC SEA selection team. Scholarships announcements are made available on this website.

Scholarship offers for academic year beginning in 2016:

The UWC movement is now offering 2 full two-year scholarships to qualified and deserving Cambodian students for the academic year 2016 - 2018. The UWC South East Asia is offering 2 scholarships for a maximum of five years for three Cambodian nationals of outstanding personal and academic potential.

Peking University in China will hold a global conference from March 23-26, 2017, the next symposium (“Xinnovation: Identity of Innovation in China”).





This is the four-day-conference that will involve lectures, panel discussion, sites visits and other sessions about innovation.

DAAD Scholarships for Nationals of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam



For the August 2017 Intake, the DAAD is going to offer up to 13 scholarships for candidates from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam (CLV) countries  to pursue Master’s degree at the AIT.
Each scholarship award covers tuition and other academic fees, and living allowances for a 22-month program. The scholarships value is THB 937,800 per scholarship holder, divided in THB 480,400 for the first year of studies (12 months); renewable for the second year depending on satisfactory academic performance at THB 457,400 for the second and last year (10 months). AIT will contribute 10% tuition fellowship per semester for four (4) semesters.

The Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst – German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Asian Institute of Technology ( AIT ) have agreed to strengthen national and institutional capacity of DAAD priority countries, namely Cambodia , Lao PDR , Myanmar and Vietnam through the offering of the DAAD- AIT Scholarships .
DAAD is one of the world’s largest and most respected intermediary organizations in its field. Scores of students, teachers, researchers and scientists supported by DAAD have been able to gain valuable experience abroad. DAAD supports and promotes all areas relating to science, research, language, teaching and others.

The Asian Institute of Technology , on the other hand, is an international post graduate institute founded in 1959, and is Asia’s pioneer institution established to help meet the region’s growing needs for advanced learning in engineering, science, technology and management, research and capacity building. AIT ‘s mission is to develop highly qualified and committed professionals who will play a leading role in the sustainable development of the region and its integration into the global economy. AIT is based in Thailand and has affiliated centers in the region.

APPLICATION PROCESS, CRITERIA AND SELECTION FOR DAAD SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify, applicants must:
1) Be a bonafide national of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar or Vietnam.
2) Applicants should be not more than 28 years of age when applying.
3) They are requested to hold a Bachelor degree with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00 (or equivalent).
4) Additionally a TOEFL of at least 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) or IELTS of at least 6.0 is mandatory. DAAD does not accept institutional TOEFL reports.
5) Prospective applicants will apply directly to AIT.
6) In addition to AIT’s application package, the applicant is to submit a CV (typed, 2 pages at most) and a letter of motivation for the master’s study.


Notes:
1) AIT shall forward the eligible application dossiers (pre-selected according to DAAD/ AIT requirements) to DAAD along with a list of applicants ranked according to AIT criteria by first week of April 2015.
2) The final decision will be taken by DAAD screening committee. The successful candidates will receive an official DAAD Letter of Award as soon as all formal requirements for admission and enrollment at AIT have been met.
